Your gear, finally catalogued in full

Kinkventory is an inventory for your own gear collection — from a knee pad to a full-body suit. Photograph an item, fill the gaps through short questions, then build outfits and packing lists for your dates. All on the iPhone, without an account.

Your photos stay with you. The collection lives in your iPhone's app container, encrypted and unreadable while the device is locked. It never appears in your photo library. Automatic recognition is off by default — only once you switch it on and confirm each analysis does a downscaled photo, stripped of location data, leave the device. It is evaluated there and not stored.

What the app does

All features in detail →

What it looks like

The inventory list with cut-out photos and completeness rings An item's detail view with attributes and provenance badges The question catalogue with an open question about size An outfit made of several items across body zones The storage tree with boxes and NFC tags A half-ticked packing list for an event

What recognition costs

The app itself is free, and so is everything that runs on the device: capture, questions, outfits, packing lists, storage, backup. The only thing that costs money is automatic image recognition, because every run consumes compute at a model provider.

You pay for it with credits rather than a subscription: buy once, use them up, done — no plan that keeps charging long after the collection is complete. A free allowance is included so you can try it.

The app is rated 16+. It shows no advertising, tracks no behaviour across apps or websites, and has no feed, no user profiles and no contact between users.
